I have a child who learns differently. She is a non-conformist and does not excel in the constrictive boundaries of the conventional school schedule. I am looking into unschooling her. Unschooling is (I think) giving the reins over to the student and letting the student steer. To follow their interests and just be a guide. It is so not what I am used to, so out of my comfort zone, that I am having constant doubts. I know this will be harder for me than her. Any thoughts?
