Our Purpose:


The purpose of Star Valley Home Educators is to encourage, enable, and
empower member families to grow and thrive in their
respective home school environments and to facilitate their success by
providing information and support services.
We are a non-denominational, faith-based homeschool support group.

How do I join and what is required?

Membership fee is $10 per family, per year. We are a non-profit organization.
As a member you will be invited to attend and participate in activities, field trips, and
classes. Members are asked to periodically contribute to the monthly newsletter and to
plan and organize and carry out the the monthly activites.
Access to this website and all its resources, is free.

Salt River, Thayne, Wyoming What Does A Membership Include?:

Member families of S.V.H.E. are notified of any and all issues pertaining to homeschooling that are brought up for vote or amendment in the local, county, or state government. Member families are welcome to join our workshops, co-op classes, and activities, as well as come along on fieldtrips and outings. There is a monthly parent meeting in which we discuss curriculum, plan activities and fieldtrips, set up workshops, and just hang out and socialize. Members have the right to vote in all general and special meetings. Members may run for board positions after one year of membership.

Web-Cam Piano Lessons

Thought I'd let folks know about a resource that might be helpful for those a little more remote.
A friend of mine in Wheatland got me started in doing webcam piano instruction
(been doing lessons in home for 15 years).
I've had a lot of interest in this from Wyoming homeschoolers (just added more families in Cheyenne) and wanted to let others know that I'm available.

Shine meets weekly at 7 pm on Sundays at New Hope Fellowship in Etna. Shine is a place where you can come as you are and experience the love of Jesus Christ.
